Letter from Waylon (Texas)

Greetings! I am a prisoner in a maximum security prison. I have a man named Richard who comes to fellowship on Tuesdays and is fast becoming a friend. He printed out a list of Bible study courses that were on Billy Graham’s web site. Yours was the most interesting to me and I would really like that MacArthur Study Bible! Looking forward to hearing from you.

For King Jesus,

Letter from Michael (Florida)

Dear Mt. Nebo,

God bless you and all you do! Thank you for being there for me as a prisoner. I’m trying to build a relationship w/ Christ and serve him when I get out in 2015. I please ask you to get me started on your Bible Study as soon as you possibly can. And if you know of a good Christian mentor I could write to w/ questions and fellowship and to get some good direction in living a Christian life! I’m 40 years old and a drug addict/alcoholic, who spent many sinful years on the streets.

Thanks/God bless,

Michael (Florida)

Letter from John (Texas)

Thank you for my Bible! It is the nicest think I have ever received. I have spent hours reading through it. I am trying now to get into more Bible studies while I’m here. This absolutely has to be the last time I ever get into trouble! Only Jesus can save me and I’m asking Him now to forgive me for all my sins and help me be strong and face life on life’s terms everyday and don’t make any more excuses for using drugs and alcohol. Again, thank you so much for my new Bible.

God bless you and your ministry,

In Christ, John

Letter from Rob (New Jersey)

My name is Rob. I am a 49 year old serving 121 months for bank robberies. I am being held at FCI Fort Dix, New Jersey. At the conclusion of this sentence I will be taken to Connecticut to serve another 8 years for a bank robbery. I became a believer in Christ about 3 months into my sentence and have accepted Jesus Christ into my life as my personal Lord and Savior.

Last  night, just 14 months later, I was baptized here at Fort Dix. God has changed my life so much that there is nothing I want more in this life than to learn all that I can about Him, His Word and His way. Could you please enroll me into your Bible study?

Rob

Letter from Armando

Dear Chuck,

My name is Armando, and I am 36 years old.  I am currently incarcerated in Everglades C.I. and have been in prison for approximately five years already, but even in a dark place as this the Lord placed some very good people in my path that guided and directed my steps towards the Lord.  I have been saved for a little over three years now and have been studying diligently to get to know my Savior more intimately.
